摘 要: 本文以系统功能语言学为指导,在分析分科英语的定位和教学研究现状的基础上,阐释了系统功能语言学语域理论对于分科英语教学的适用性和指导意义。基于功能语域理论视角的分科英语教学要求培养学生对学科语言特点的显性注意、革新教师教学观念和教学模式以及助推分科英语课程建设。 Based on the Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL), the present article analyses the positioning of disci- pline-based English and the research on its teaching. It then illustrates the appliability and guiding significance of the register theory in SFL for the teaching of discipline-based English. Discipline-based English teaching from the per- spective of the functional register theory involves developing students' conscious awareness to the linguistic features of academic discourses, reshaping teachers' concepts and modes of teaching, and promoting the curriculum construction.
