摘　　要： 《樱桃园》是一部"契诃夫式"的新型现代喜剧。《樱桃园》用维持平衡状态这种特殊的推进方式,展示了无动作性的主人公与永恒变动着的时间之间的特殊的喜剧冲突;塑造了"与众不同"的喜剧人物;抛弃了巧合、误会、夸张等传统的喜剧手法,而采用气氛性布景、气氛性音乐舞蹈、气氛性人物等方法来营造笼罩全剧的喜剧气氛。《樱桃园》是契诃夫把喜剧改造成"高尚的体裁"的成功实践。 The Cherry Orchard is a new type of Chekhovian modern comedy. Through the unusual advancing technique of keeping balance, the play has succeeded in revealing the special comedy conflicts between the heroes who seem to have not taken any particular action and the time which keeps changing, and has created unique comedy characters. Instead of the traditional comedy techniques such as coincidence, misunderstanding and exaggeration, the play appeals to atmospheric setting, atmospheric music and dance, and atmospheric characters so as to create a comedy atmosphere hanging over the whole play. The play is a successful case of Chekhov's practice in turning the comedy into a noble style.
