摘　　要： 南海九江方位地名景观刻录着九江人的归属意识。它诞生在鱼花专营的霸气和儒林之乡的雅气中,鼎盛于经历了省辖九江市(1926-1928年)和县辖九江市(1928-1936年)的历史荣耀之后。研究九江方位地名与居民归属意识的联系,至少可以给我们提供以下启示:首先,在地名这种知识秩序中,包含着人们的心理现实;其次,地名与人们的心理现实是一种互动的关系;再次,地名景观是活的化石,在其生命运动中,蕴藏着丰富的关于地域和居民的文化信息。 The direction-based geographic name of Jiujiang in Nanhai is embedded with the sense of be-longings of Jiujiang people .It was first born in Ming Dynasty ,when JiuJiang won the monopoly of fish fries and was known as a cradle of great scholars .It peaked in 1920s-1930s ,when Jiujiang became a city under province （in 1926 to 1928） and under county （1928 to 1936） .To study the relationship between direction-based geographic names in JiuJiang and the sense of belongings of its citizens ,it is not difficult to understand that ：first ,the geographic names reflect people＇s mental reality ;second ,there is an inter-active relationship between the geographic names ＆amp; people＇s mental reality ;third ,geographic names contain abundant information on local ＆amp; residential cultural ,just like living fossil .
