摘　　要： 语篇分析(discourse analysis)是一门年轻的,还未定性的学科,但它已逐渐形成为一门专门研究交际中的语言使用情况并涉及多个学科的学问。本文试从分析英语求职信的语篇入手,引导学生认识和掌握英语求职信的语篇结构,帮助学生写出地道的英文求职信。 Discourse analysis is a new and undetermined subject. But it has gradually become a knowledge which involves some other subjects and also a knowledge which is used to study the situation of using languages. This paper begins with the analysis of writing covering letters to help the students know and grasp the discourse structure of covering letters. And then it leads students to write a proper covering letter in English.
