摘　　要： 潘文国和谭慧敏的新著《对比语言学：历史与哲学思考》给了我们一个理性的认识：一个学科理论体系的建立依靠两项基础工程，那就是学科理论史和范畴系统的研究。前者的核心部分是范畴史的研究，也是后者的基础；后者的核心部分是范畴间的相互关系，也是前者的理论升华。 Pan and T an＇s new book Contrastive Linguistics：A Historical and Philosophical Survey gives us a rational knowledge：The establishmeat of theoretical system for a discipline relies on two basic researches：theoretical history and categorical system. The core of the former is the history of its categories, and the base of the latter; the core of the latter is the intercormections of its categories,and the theoretical abstraction of the former.
