摘 要: 从杜威的教育思想内部看,他的教育无目的论自成体系;从杜威教育思想与社会思想的关系中看,教育则成为他实现社会理想的主要工具和手段。他始终把教育看作是社会和人之间互相促进的动力性因素,他的教育目的实际上服务于教育外的社会目的:改造现存社会、建立"民主共同体"。 John Dewey's educational aims are part of his sociological views,even the main measures to fulfill his social ideal.His internal educational aims actually focus on the external aim-reforming and improving the society.Animadverting on the traditional educational aims leads to the innovation of his ideas on one hand,but it makes one of the factors that cause the limitation of his educational aims on the other hand.Here,the author makes an analysis of the social significance and limitations of John Dewey's educational aims.
