摘　　要： 分析了英国现代女作家达夫妮.杜穆里埃的小说《蝴蝶梦》中的一些意象特征,认为在这部小说中,杜穆里埃通过大量的哥特式意象制造了曼陀丽庄园的阴森、恐怖、神秘的气氛,描述了主人公焦虑、恐惧、压抑和绝望的心理。指出《蝴蝶梦》中出现的这些哥特式意象,更好地体现了小说巨大而永恒的魅力。 Some image characteristics of English modem female novelist Daphne Du Maurer＇s Rebecca are analyzed. In Rebecca, Du Maurier used a great deal of Gothic images to create the dark, horrible, mysterious atmosphere of Manderly and to show the anxiety, fear, depression and desperation of the characters. It is pointed out that the Gothic images in Rebecca represent the everlasting charm of the novel.
