摘 要: 在教育内容上,孔子主张“文、行、忠、信”四教的统一。孔子固然重视“文”之教,但更重视“行”之教,即实践教育。“文、行、忠、信”四教之间是相互贯通、相互包含的。落实于教育层面来审视,孔子所谓的“行”既指有益于社会的实践活动,也指合乎道德的个人行为。无论是实践活动还是个人行为,都必须用“文”来引领和以“忠”、“信”来配合。孔子的“行”之教不仅含有浓郁的道德色彩,而且富有强烈的实践品格,是儒学教育和中华传统文化生命力的重要源泉。 The subject xing(conduct) along with wen(culture), zhong(loyalty), xin(truthfulness),are the four main subjects in Confucius’ s teaching. Confucius attached so much importance to the practical education of xing. xing refers to both the practical activities which benefit the society and the moral individual behavior. Both of them should be guided by wen, adhering to the principle of zhong and xin. Confucius’ educational thought of xing, adequately reflecting his thought on moral education and containing a striking feature of practice, is an important source of the Confucianism and the vitality of Chinese traditional culture.
