摘　　要： 清末留日学生高天梅等人,1905年于日本东京创办的《醒狮》月刊是当时重要的启蒙刊物,董守义和黄福庆两位先生关于《醒狮》的说法有误。熊月之的"爱国主义、民主主义"之说亦多牵强,不能准确说明《醒狮》宗旨,用"振懦砭愚,输入学理"来概括其启蒙内涵更为合理。 Xingshi(Lions Awake),run in Tokyo in 1905 by Gao Tianmei and other Chinese students overseas studying in Japan at the end of the Qing Dynasty,was an important monthly for enlightenment.However,Dong Shouyi and Huang Fuqing had some mistakes in relating Xingshi.The remarks of'patriotism'and'nationalism'given by Xiong Yuezhi are mostly farfetched,and do not reflect accurately its core.The introduction of'Zhennuo bianyu'(invigorating the weak and curing the stupid) can reveal more sensibly the implications of enlightenment involved in it.
