摘　　要： 现有研究对"熟黎"一词存在误读,实际上,"熟黎"主要是一种"政治用语",因为族群意识的产生源于他者的进入而非自然生成。从"熟黎"的身份的建构过程来看,"熟黎"概念因古代汉族统治者设定而产生,并在族群间交往中不断强化,并且依靠语言上、组织上、习俗上的双重认同来维系这一族群认同。 Present studies betray a misinterpretation of the label 'Tempered Li',which was basically a'political term',as ethnic awareness arises when'others'intrude.The notion of 'Tempered Li' was conceived by the ruling Hans,continually reinforced through contacts between the ethnic groups,and maintained in languages,in organizations,and in conventions.
