摘　　要： 转折和对比是现代汉语中既有联系又相互区别的两个语义关系范畴。作为原型范畴,转折和对比各自的典型成员之间在直接关联项数量、关联项的线性连续性、关联项可背景化的程度、主要表达功能、前后项意义均衡性以及前后项的逻辑性质六个方面都具有清晰而显著的区别。通过对二者差异的分析,同时也获得了一系列关于转折关系范畴特征及其构成条件的新认识。 As the semantic relation categories in modern Chinese, adversity and contrast have relevance to each other, and distinguish from each other in the meantime. The main distinctions of the typical members of the two which are prototypical categories are clear and notable. The main categorical features of adversity are generalized through the comparison between adversity and contrast. Moreover, the composing terms of the adversity sentences are learned through the main categorical features.
