摘　　要： 社会主义是劳动人民意志和利益的集中体现，其思想文化以劳动者为本位，以劳动者的自由发展为核心，主张社会成员间的平等，内涵了人民群众在政治上的主人翁地位和权利。20世纪社会主义实践的主要教训，一是忽视了本国国情，犯了教条主义错误；二是忽视了以劳动者为本位的民主文化和民主政治建设。在新的世纪里，要继续坚持社会主义，推进人类的进步事业，就要始终坚持开放与民主性原则，坚持批判“官文化”，坚持唯实创新性原则。 Socialism embodies the will and interest of laboring people． Its thought and culture takes laborers as the standard and the free development of laborers as the core and it advocates the equality between members of society with the connotation of position and right of people as masters politically． The major lessons in 20th century socialist practice are by ignoring our national condition we made the mistake of dogmatism we also ignored the construction of democratic culture and democratic politics with laborers as the standard． In the new century to insist on socialism and to promote the progressive cause of man we should insist on opening－up and democratic principles criticize “bureaucratic culture” and persist in principles of being practical and creative．
