摘　　要： 移民及其后裔的居住模式与教育、医疗、就业等重要资源的分配问题息息相关,因此在美国学界一直深受重视。脱胎于城市生态学理论及地位获得理论的空间同化理论剖析了社会经济地位与居住空间的关联性,结合地方分层、背景差别、居住偏好等相关理论后能很好地解释及预测少数族裔群体的居住空间分布。美国亚裔独特的聚居模式为空间同化理论带来了新的发展,让学者尝试将族裔文化、社会网络及族裔经济对移民居住模式的影响引入空间同化模型。随着中国经济的蓬勃发展,对中国生活充满憧憬的外籍人员日益增加。对美国空间同化理论及其在亚裔应用中的最新发现进行系统性梳理,再结合中国的具体国情,将有助于了解外籍人员的居住情况,预测他们在中国居住空间的变化,为针对性地制定外国人管理政策及合理分配公共资源提供理论支撑。 Since minorities’ residential integration reflects the fair distribution of education,public health,employment and other important resources,American scholars have paid a lot of attention to the spatial assimilation theory.Combining ecological models and status attainment models,spatial assimilation model is designed to capture the connection between socio-economic status and residential space.Due to the new challenges brought up by the residential concentration of Asian Americans,scholars are expanding the spatial assimilation perspective to take racial/ethnic characteristics into account.As China attracts an increasing number of immigrants,spatial assimilation theory is gaining importance in China as well.Thus a systematic review of spatial assimilation theory and studies on Asian Americans’ residential space has both academic contribution and practical use.
