摘　　要： 语言的语法构造及基本词汇是语言的基础 ,是语言特点的本质。本文着重阐述了日语词汇 (日语的复合表记法、实词虚词、口语中的语言特点 )、语言结构 (粘着语 )、语序特点 (谓语位于句末 )和语言表达 (敬语、暖昧语、男女表达方式的区别 )等的主要特点。 This paper discusses the prominent features of the Japanese language, including those of the vocabulary (its multi\|expressive words, self\|reliant words and attached words, oral words, etc), of the synatctic structure (of an agglutinative language), of word order (the most important thing being always placed at the end of the sentence), and of the special ways of expression (the respectful way of speaking, the ambiguous way of speaking, the different modes of speaking of men and women, etc).
