摘　　要： 探讨中国模式,关系到对中国和平崛起可能性的评估,这就是为什么应该掌握欧美知识界如何论证中国模式的普遍性。英美专家们对于中国模式"普遍性"的评价大致可归纳为三种观点:中国模式有效、中国模式有前景、中国模式是威胁。英美专家所界定的中国模式聚焦于经济转型及政府作用,深受其价值体系指引。在这样的西方中心论下,中国模式的潜在普遍性就成为一种威胁,随之则将影响人们对中国和平崛起可能性的判断。 Discussing the China Model has an effect on people's assessment of the potentiality of China's peaceful rise. This is why we need to understand how Western academia, including Europe and US, looks at the universality of the China Model. Generally, American and British academics hold three types of viewpoints about it: the Model is effective; the Model has prospects; and the Model is a threat. Largely guided by their own value system, these academics define the China Model as focusing on economic transition and the role of the government in it. Under such a West-centrism, the universality of the China Model has therefore been seen as a threat, making some people pessimistic about the peaceful rise of China.
