摘　　要： 在新工科背景下,数学建模教育可以对高职院校培养高素质创新型技术技能人才发挥重要的基础性作用。通过分析目前高职院校数学建模的发展现状和困境,探讨数学建模在科学素养和思想政治教育上的文化育人功能,并指出在新工科背景下高职院校实施数学建模教育的积极意义。 Mathematical modeling education can play a fundamental role in training talents with high quality and innovative technology skills for higher vocational colleges under the background of emerging engineering. This paper analyses the current situation and predicament of the development of mathematical modeling education in higher vocational colleges,discusses the cultural function of mathematical modeling on the scientific literacy and ideological politics education,and points out the positive significance of the implementation of mathematical modeling education in higher vocational colleges under the background of emerging engineering.
