我国高校外国语言文学学科发展状况——基于教育部学科评估结果的分析

摘  要: 借助SPSS19.0软件,对教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心组织的两轮外国语言文学学科评估得出的结果进行统计,结果表明:(1)我国高等学校的外国语言文学学科水平整体处在不断提升的过程中;(2)语言类高校与非语言类高校、211高校与非211高校在外国语言文学学科实力上的差距日渐体现;(3)在学科实力排名上,北京大学与北京外国语大学仍为最强劲的高校。未来我国高校外国语言文学学科的发展应注意开展校内或校际合作,培养交叉学科点,认清学校使命,立足学校传统,优化学科结构,有所为、有所不为,扶优、扶强、扶特。 Recommendations for the 13 th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development,a document adopted at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18 th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on October 29,2015,requires that Higher Education Institutes( HEIs) optimize the structure of disciplines and the training program with the improvement of education quality as the core issue.Not only does this map out the direction of the development of Chinese higher education,it also makes the construction of disciplines of HEIs again a heated topic. With SPSS 19. 0 as the research tool,a statistical study based on the two evaluations( 2009 and 2012) of China Discipline Ranking( CDR) organized by China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center reveals the following results. Firstly,the overall level of the discipline of foreign languages and literature of Chinese HEIs keeps rising over the past decade. Secondly,the gap between language universities and non-language ones in terms of the disciplinary strength becomes increasingly apparent,and this is also true for the gap between key universities and non-key ones. Lastly,as for the ranking of the disciplinary strength,Peking University and Beijing University of Foreign Studies top the list. Suggestions for the future development of the discipline of foreign languages and literature of Chinese HEIsinclude emphasis on inter-disciplinary research,optimization of disciplinary structure and priority on advantageous disciplines.
