摘 要: 边缘计算是一种前瞻性的新兴计算范式,将对城市化进程中的我国经济社会发展产生深刻影响,带来巨大变革。本文从边缘计算的基本概念入手,探求技术应用背后的系统本质属性,展望边缘计算重点应用领域和发展趋势。边缘计算能够为智慧城市建设提供高效的网络计算体系架构,构建网络、计算、存储、应用核心能力为一体的边缘开放平台,提供高效低时延的近端用户服务。面对随之而来的机遇和挑战,提出边缘计算驱动智慧城市发展的建议,作出未来智慧城市蓝图的展望。 Edge computing is a new forward-looking computing paradigm, which will have a profound impact on China’s economic and social development in the process of urbanization and bring about great changes. Starting from the basic concept of edge computing, this paper explores the systematic nature behind the application of technology, and looks into the key application fields and development trend of edge computing. Edge computing can provide an efficient network computing architecture for developing smart cities, build an open edge platform integrating network, computing, storage, application and other core capabilities, and provide efficient and low-latency near-end user services. Facing the ensuing opportunities and challenges, this paper proposes driving the development of smart cities with edge computing and envisioning the blueprint of smart cities in the future.
