摘　　要： 通过阐述当前城市历史环境保护的困境与国内外历史文化遗产保护的发展和演进,强调关注城市社会经济活动等非物质层面对历史环境可持续保护的重要意义。提出空间句法作为联系城市空间结构与社会经济活动的理论方法,可以量化历史肌理与街区活力的关系,对研究历史环境可持续保护具有适用性。以广州西关历史街区为例,构建其不同时期的量化空间结构模型,挖掘其在城市不断扩张的背景下的空间结构特征,以期为其他城市历史环境的可持续保护有所启发。 This paper emphasizes the significance of urban social and economic activities for the sustainable conservation of historic environment by elaborating the current predicament of urban historic environmental conservation and the development and evolution of the conservation of historic and cultural heritage at home and abroad.It illustrates that Space Syntax,as a theoretical method linking urban spatial structure with social and economic activities,can quantify the relationship between historic fabric and block vitality,which is applicable to the study of sustainable conservation of historic environment.Taking Xiguan historic area in Guangzhou as an example,this paper uses space syntax to construct its quantitative spatial structure model in different periods,and reveals its spatial structure characteristics.This research will hopefully contribute to inspiring the sustainable conservation of historic environment of other cities.
