摘 要: 许渊冲《诗经》译本、汪榕培《诗经》译本深受中国传统艺术境界理论的影响,重视中国古诗的“神韵”,并且尝试在译作中重建《诗经》所特有的形式特征,体现出中国译者立足本土文化立场,探索中国典籍翻译理论的文化自觉。两部译本都不局限于接受哪家的观点,而是着力发掘诗篇中根植于中国文化精神的诗情画意,表现了《诗经》质朴自然、韵味无穷的艺术特点,书写了《诗经》英译发展的新历程。 Both Xu Yuanchong’s translation and Wang Rongpei’s translation of The Book of Songs are deeply influenced by the theory of Chinese traditional art realm.The two translations attach great importance to the“spirit”of ancient Chinese poetry,and attempt to reconstruct the unique characteristics of the original in The Book of Songs.The translated works reflect the Chinese translator’s cultural consciousness,exemplifying their exploration of theorizing Chinese classics based on indigenous culture.Without limiting their translations to emphasize specific conception,they mainly explore the poetic features of the poems,which are rooted in the Chinese cultural spirit.The works show the artistic characteristics in The Book of Songs,reproducing the touch of simpleness,naturalness and lingering charm of the original,and shaping a new course for the translated The Book of Songs.
