摘　　要： 广州的＂侨＂的特征相比传统侨乡要弱,但与海外移民的联系比中国国内其他大城市要紧密。海外关系作为一种社会资本对广州居民家庭有着积极正面的影响,侨眷无论是在教育程度、收入以及对于自身的社会经济地位评价上均比非侨眷高。但令人意外的是,海外关系对于广州居民家庭的积极正面影响主要是通过非经济的因素来产生影响而非传统的经济方式。 The characteristics of overseas Chinese in Guangzhou is weaker than traditional Overseas Chinese counties, but it has stronger relationship with overseas immigrants than other big cities in China. Overseas relations have the positive effect on the Guangzhou residents as social capital. tions have better education, income and higher socioeconomic status. The people Surprisingl and families with overseas relay, the positive effect exerted by the overseas relations on residents in Guangzhou is through the non-economic factors rather than economic ways .
