马来西亚华文报业的功能定位与跨族群角色转型

摘  要: 作为少数族群传媒,马来西亚华文报纸依托系统而完整的华文教育、长期的报纸品牌效应以及市场和资本的支持,在远离中华文化母体的环境中,延续发展了200多年。然而,目前马来西亚华文报业在族群政治的制约和新媒体的冲击下,面临传播功能被弱化、话语权被分解的危险。希望联盟上台后,族群环境改善,马来西亚华文报业有望迎来一个历史发展的转折点。加快发展华文新媒体,依托原有报纸品牌延伸产业链,推进报业的资本化、市场化,将会为马来西亚华文报纸创造新的发展空间。 As a minority media,Malaysian Chinese newspapers rely on systematic and complete Chinese education,long-term newspaper brand effect,market and capital support,and has continued to develop for 200 years in an environment far from the Chinese cultural maternal body.However,at present,under the influence of ethnic politics and the impact of new media,the Malaysian Chinese newspaper industry faces the danger of weakening communication functions and decomposing the right to speak.After Pakatan Harapan came to power,the ethnic environment improved and the Malaysian Chinese newspaper industry is expected to usher in a turning point in historical development.Accelerating the development of Malaysian Chinese new media,relying on the original newspaper brand to extend the industry chain and promoting the capitalization and marketization of the newspaper industry will create new development space for it.
