摘　　要： 本文围绕下面两个问题进行一些讨论：（1）训读的性质以及它与其他借用方法的联系与区别；（2）训读产生的原因以及训读的作用、影响，训读之后对语言系统的影响。在汉字的使用方面所遇到的这些问题日语和汉语方言有一些共同的地方，因此参照有关情况进行讨论。 This article discusses two questions ： 1 ） the nature of Xundu and its relations to and differences from other forms of borrowing; 2） the origin of Xundu and its influence on the linguistic system. Reference to Kundoku, a similar phenomenon in Japanese is made in the discussion.
