摘　　要： 本文考察了汉文所记载的古波斯神判法,认为＂烧铁灼舌＂起源于古波斯尚火的宗教传统,符合琐罗亚斯德教经典的规定。但在现实中,其却是为专制政权服务的,主要乃为惩治政敌而设,反映了古波斯政教合一的传统。 The paper examines a kind of ancient Persian ordeal recorded in Chinese historical documents.One of the most peculiar external characteristics of this ordeal is 'burning tongue with hot iron' which originated from the fire-worshipping in ancient Persian religious tradition.It obviously accords with the orthodox Zoroastrian tenets.But in reality,it served the authoritarian regime and was designed to punish those political opponents.Undoubtedly it reflects the combined political and religious system of ancient Persian theocracy.
