摘　　要： 交际意愿这一概念提出20多年以来，围绕其进行的研究有了长足的发展。研究者们关注的对象从母语交际扩展到第二语言交际；交际意愿从最初被看作类似性格特征的倾向发展到被看作兼具稳定性与情境可变性的社会心理因素；交际意愿模式也得到跨文化的解读与重构。但交际意愿的研究本身在研究设计等方面还存在一些问题。 This paper gives an overview of the development of Willingness to Communicate （ WTC ） researches over 20 years. The following changes are identified： The focus of research was shifted from L1 communication to L2 communication ; WTC was not only taken as a personality - based, trait - like predisposition, but also as a situation - based variable; Besides, WTC model was reinterpreted and reconstructed from a cross - cultural perspective. Literature review also indicates that previous researches had problems in research designs and other aspects.
