摘　　要： 河源提出了经济、生态、文化“三大崛起”的发展战略，文化崛起是摆在河源发展面前的重大问题，具有悠久历史的广东省河源市，是岭南文化的发祥地之一，“万绿河源、客家古邑”就是很好的概括，作为东江上游的河源，东江文明起源与发展研究对河源实现文化崛起具有重大的战略意义。 Heyuan put forward development strategy of ＂three big rises＂ in economy, ecology and culture. The rise of culture is becoming a major problem in the development of Heyuan. With a long history, Heyuan in Guangdong Province, is one of the birthplaces of the culture in South of the Five Ridges, which is well summarized in such expression as ＂Heyuan with evergreen rivers and mountains is an ancient Hakka town＂. Heyuan is the cradle and origin of Dongjiang civilization; therefore, the study on the origin and development of Dongjiang civilization is of great strategic significance to the realization of Heyuan＇s cultural rise.
