摘　　要： 西方绘画以体面和明暗来显示物体的逼真形象,而中国绘画则以笔墨线条作为重要的造型手段。线在中国画中的作用不仅仅是造型的一种方法,同时也是画家借助笔墨在线条中的变化表达主观情感、调整思维和节奏的一种重要载体。线条的粗细、长短、浓淡、虚实、轻重、刚柔等变化,均构成了中国画的语言符号。可以说,线条是连接中国画的形、境、情之纽带。 Western painting display realistic image of the object with volume and shadow, but Chinese painting see the pen.ink and line as an important means of modeling. The role of line in Chinese painting is not only a kind of modeling method, but also is a kind of im- portant carrier that express emotion and regulate thinking. The change of line , for example, thick and fine.long and short.colorful and pale.void and real.light and heavy.hard and soft , constitute the language of Chinese painting. So, line is the link between form.atmos- phere.emotion in Chinese painting.
