摘　　要： 20多年来，苏童一直在小说的迷宫里努力寻找一根能照亮小说及生命的灯绳。在寻找灯绳的途中，童年是他背负的行囊，想象是他携带的翅膀，先锋是短暂的实验，而他在回归传统的写作实践中显然走得更久也更远一些。“说故事”的天赋和浸染江南风韵的感伤抒情风格在他的中篇小说中融合得最为迷人。 For more than 20 years, Su Tong has been seeking for a light that can illuminate his life and novels. The childhood is his travelling luggage, the imagination is his wings and pioneering is his short experiment. Obviously, he walks farther along the road of traditional writing. The gift of narrating a story and the sentimental lyrical style rich in the charm of the southern Yangzi River is most attractive in his medium-length novels.
