摘　　要： 海外华人援助广东公益文化事业具有悠久的历史，对广东图书馆事业繁荣发展具有积极的推动作用和深远的影响。广东的地理优势为广东图书馆事业发展提供了便利。为了使海外华人援助广东图书馆事业可持续发展，需要从以下两点入手：项目执行状况是海外华人援助可持续发展前提，良好的环境和政策是海外华人援助可持续发展保障。 Overseas Chinese＇ assistance to the cause of public welfare culture of Guangdong Province has a long history ,and promotes and effects the prosperity and development of Guangdong＇s librarianship. At present the geographical advantages of Guangdong Province facilitate the development of Guangdong＇s librarianship. In order to maintain sustainable development of Guangdong＇s librarianship, two points must be mentioned： the state of implementation of projects is prerequisite for overseas Chinese assistance and good environment and policy are the security.
