摘　　要： 中国古代园林与文学相辅相成,密不可分。园林是文人读书治学的场地、修身养性的乐土、结社雅集的处所和文学创作的基地。《红楼梦》大观园是曹雪芹用文字精心营造的一座完美的"文学园林",它全面集中地展示了明清园林艺术的精粹,充分体现了中国古代园林的美学思想,作为小说人物活动的空间背景,对情节发展、人物性格塑造具有重要作用,是中国古代园林文学书写的成功典范。 The Chinese ancient garden has a complementary inseparable relationship with the Chinese literature. A garden is a place where men of letters read and study, cultivate their minds, form an association, have a party and devote themselves to literary creation. The Grand Sight Garden in A Dream of Red Mansions is a perfect ＂literary garden＂ which Cao Xueqin constructed carefully with literary words. It displays the essence of garden art in the Ming and Qing dynasties intensively and embodies the aesthetic view of the ancient Chinese garden fully. As the spatial background of fictional characters, the Grand Sight Garden plays an important role in plot development and character shaping and is a successful example of the literary writing of the Chinese ancient garden.
