摘 要: 基于工具性利益相关者理论和社会资本理论,本文研究了企业社会责任行为如何影响企业技术创新.通过对212家制造企业的问卷调查,发现企业社会责任行为有助于企业与其利益相关者建立密切而长期的关系,进而从这些利益相关者处获得技术创新所需要的信息和资源.企业从利益相关者关系中得到的社会资本,特别是政治关系和商业关系,在企业社会责任行为与技术创新之间发挥中介作用.同时,企业社会责任行为与技术创新的正向关系受到竞争强度的负向调节影响,市场不确定性则会促进企业社会责任行为与技术创新的关系.这些发现为企业积极履行社会责任并从中促进技术创新提供了新的思路. Drawing on instrumental stakeholder theory and social capital theory,it examined how CSR initiatives influenced firm innovation. The results from a survey of 212 Chinese manufacturing firms reveal that CSR initiatives enable firms to build closer and deeper relationships with their stakeholders,and to gain access to diverse information and knowledge from those stakeholders,and thereby foster firm innovation. Furthermore,political ties and business ties mediate the relationship between CSR initiatives and firm innovation. The findings also show that the positive effect of CSR initiatives is moderated by competitive intensity and market turbulence. The findings provide novel insights into how firms can proactively engage in CSR initiatives to facilitate firm innovation.
