摘 要: 语言的三大元功能即概念功能、人际功能和语篇功能最早是韩礼德在其著作系统功能语法中提出的。研究人际意义主要基于人际功能,并通过语气、情态和人称来实现,但随着人际功能的不断发展和完善,马丁教授提出新的人际意义研究理论——评价理论。评价理论包括态度、介入和级差三个子系统,主要关注语篇中的评价资源。该研究试图以评价理论为框架,探究卡梅伦就职演讲中存在的各种评价资源及其实现人际意义的方法。 Halliday put forward the three meta-functions of language in Systemic Functional Grammar: ide-ational function, interpersonal function and textual function. Most researches on interpersonal meaning are based on interpersonal function and accomplished through mood,modality and pronoun. But with the continuous development and improvement of interpersonal function, Prof.Martin created the new theory to research interpersonal meaning - Appraisal Theory. Appraisal Theory includes attitude、engagement and graduation,which focuses on the appraisal resources in discourses. This paper explores the appraisal resources and methods of accomplishing interpersonal meaning in terms of Appraisal Theory.
