Workers' family is the most microcosmic element in the complex system of state-owned forest region. The transition and development of state-owned forest region influence the forest workers household, while the livelihood of worker households also affect the smooth transition and development of state-owned forest region. Therefore, in the new period of the transformation and development of the state-owned forest region, paying attention to the development trend of the forestry worker households is of certain practical significance. In this paper, the state-owned forestry worker household vulnerability mainly refers to the state- owned forestry workers' capacity to resist abrupt or long-term external pressure, attacks or risks, or poor ability to adapt, insecurity and vulnerable to the disaster when facing the external environment changes. On the basis of livehhood theory, the specific performance dimensions of the vulnerability of the worker households were analyzed in terms of physical capital, human capital and social capital. Pressure state response (PSR) model was used to analyze the formation and evolution mechanism of worker family vulnerability in Northeast state-owned forest region. The result showed that the vulnerability of worker households in northeast state-owned forestry region was determined by the pressure from internal and external environmental factors and the responsiveness of worker household to the factors. In the long term, the vulnerability of forestry worker household showed the trend to threaten the safety of forest resources, inhibit forestry economic development and destruct social stability in the forest region.
