摘　　要： 海军作为一个国家武装力量中唯一的国际化军种,在国家的对外政策中发挥着独特而又重要的作用。美国作为世界上最强大的海权国家,冷战后其海军在对外政策中的作用日益显著。近年来,随着中国海军的日益强大,如何进一步发挥海军在中国对外政策中的作用成为中国当下无法回避的问题。本文梳理了已有的海军外交理论,并借此分析了美国海军在美国对外政策中的地位,其作用于美国外交政策中的方式、目的、特点以及效用和不足。随着中国海外利益的拓展和维护世界和平与发展的需要,海军外交将成为日益强大的中国海军日常活动的一部分。深入研究美国海军在其外交政策中的作用,对中国海军在对外关系中的作用有着一定的借鉴作用。 Generally, the Navy, as unique international armed forces of a states military, playsan important role in its foreign policy. After the Cold War, the United States has had the worldsmost mighty maritime power, and its naval role in foreign policy has become increasingly promi-nent. With the gradual expansion of Chinas national interests in the world, the development ofthe countrys Navy has become more and more significant. This paper is to analyze the role, pur-pose, characteristics and power of the U.S. Navy in foreign policy, which can provide favorablereferences to the PLA Navy in Chinas foreign relations.
