摘 要: 斗草(文斗)是中国古代女子重要的益智游戏,既可愉悦身心,又可学习自然和文化知识。斗草游戏中对仗的植物名字体现着语言艺术的魅力,蕴涵着古老的自然知识和民间智慧,承载着中国源远流长的传统博物学文化。同时,它展现了传统博物学中自然知识与文学艺术的紧密互动,古典文化中的诗词歌赋、小说、绘画等对斗草多有涉及,典型的如《红楼梦》《镜花缘》《秦淮女儿斗草篇》等。借助植物考据学,斗草游戏里古老的自然知识与现代科学可以对话,传统博物学文化的图景也得以展现。在这个图景中,女性是重要的参与者,也是自然和文化知识的传播者。 The verbal competition of doucao( competition by playing plants) was an important edutainment for young women in ancient China. In this game,women can do exercise,have fun and learn natural and cultural knowledge. Couplets of plant names used in the game reflect the charm of Chinese language,and bear cultures of traditional natural history of ancient China,with rich natural and folk knowledge,which closely interacted with literature and art. The scenes of doucao were often showed in poems,novels and paintings,such as The Story of the Stone,Flowers in the Mirror,Doucao of Qinhuai River Daughters,etc. By plant textology,the gap between ancient natural knowledge in the game and modern botany were bridged,the picture of cultures of traditional natural history was also unveiled as well. In this picture,women were important participators,as well as communicators of natural and cultural knowledge.
