摘　　要： 美国汉学家白睿文和陈毓贤合作翻译的《长恨歌》秉承对"他者"再现的宗旨,成功展现了王安忆小说的精微与宏达,展现了上海文学的力与美。面对广大英语读者,两位汉学家对源语文本审读细致且拿捏精准,既不游离源语,又不机械愚忠。虽然偶见瑕疵与不足,但总体来说其异化的翻译策略巧妙地还原和重现了原作中的上海元素,其归化的移译办法达到了生动传神地讲述上海故事的文本旨归。异化与归化的完美结合和巧妙平衡,是《长恨歌》在英语世界站稳脚跟的堂奥,也是中国文学文化走出去的正确门径之一。 The Song of Everlasting Sorrow is translated by American sinologists Micheal Berry and Susan Chan Egan for the purpose of reproducing ＂the other＂,which successfully shows not only the delicacy and magnificence in Wang Anyi＇s novels,but also the power and beauty in Shanghai literature.Faced with many readers in the English world,these two sinologists carefully bone up on the source text and precisely deal with it.They are neither exocentric from the source language nor mechanically and stupidly loyal to it.The foreignizing translation strategy dexterously restores and reproduces Shanghai elements in the original work,while the domestication translation achieves the aim of narrating a story of Shanghai vividly.The perfect combination and artful balance of foreignization and domestication obtains The Song of Everlasting Sorrow a key to the vault of the English world,and provides a proper way to help to introduce Chinese literature and culture abroad.
