摘　　要： 梅贻琦是民国时期著名的教育家。在他担任清华大学校长时期,清华大学人才辈出。其高等教育的管理经验,也为后人所称道。对梅贻琦先生教育思想的探讨,有助于缓解"钱学森之问"所带来的焦虑。这其中的通才教育、大师论和"教授治校"等教育思想,对当代高等教育的改革发展的启示在于:以通才教育培育学生,以大师论加快办学模式创新,以"教授治校"启迪高校管理模式改革创新,共同推进世界一流大学和一流学科建设,提高我国高等教育发展水平。 Mei Yiqi is a famous educator in the Republic of China. During he served as president of Tsinghua University,the talented people came forth in large numbers. His management experience of higher education is admired by future generations. The discussion of Mei Yiqi＇s educational thought is helpful to alleviate the anxiety brought by＂ Qian Xuesen＇s questions＂. His educational thoughts include： liberal education, master theory and＂ governance by faculty＂. They still have important enlightenment to the reform and development of contemporary higher education：cultivating students with liberal education,speeding up the innovation of school running mode with the master theory,enlightened reform and innovation of management mode in colleges and universities with＂governance by faculty＂in order to raise the level of our country＇s higher education schools.
