摘　　要： 钱歌川是20世纪海内外著名的翻译家,教育家和文学家。钱先生毕生通过教书、著书和译书来改造和影响社会。他的翻译理论和翻译实践在中国翻译史上享有崇高的地位。由于历史原因,海峡两岸长期隔绝,钱先生的许多堪称经典的作品无法呈现在国内广大读者的面前,故而"文"之名大于"译"之誉。通过追寻其翻译足迹,探索译家的心路历程,研究总结其翻译思想,为当今的翻译实践提供指导。 As a famous translator, educator and litterateur both at home and abroad. He has changed and influenced the society by teaching, writing and translating. He has attained a lofty position in the field of translation theories and practice. However, he is known for his literary works instead of his translations, because many outstanding translations are not read wildly in China for cross -strait segregation. This paper aims to provide guidance for translation practice by summarizing Qian Gechuan＇ s translation thoughts and researching his translation activities.
