摘　　要： 随着我国高等教育事业的发展,高校扩招已经成为一种必然的发展趋势,而在学生不断增加的情况下,师资力量不足成为制约高等教育发展的重要因素。合作学习模式作为应对大班教学的重要举措,能够有效地提高教学效率和教学质量,从而培养符合社会主义现代化建设的人才。因此,必须强化大学公共英语教学中的合作学习模式应用研究,对当前合作学习模式存在的问题进行分析,从而采取有效的解决措施,发挥合作学习模式的作用,为促进高等教育水平的提升作出更大的贡献。 With the development of China＇s higher education, college enrollment has become an inevitable trend of development. Because of constantly increase of students, the shortage of teachers has become an important factor restricting the development of higher education. As an important measure of coping with large class teaching, cooperative learning model can effectively promote teaching ef- ficiency and improve teaching quality, so as to train qualified personnel in line with socialist modernization. Therefore, we must strengthen the application research on cooperative/earning mode in college English teaching and analyze the existing problems, so as to take effective measures to solve, play the role of cooperative learning, and make greater contribution to promoting the upgrading of the level of higher education.
