摘　　要： 关联理论和关联翻译理论视阈下，口译的本质对象是说话人的交际意图。交际者传递某一思想的目的就是让接受者明白他传递该思想的意图。意图是整个交际（包括会话交际、篇章交际及非言语交际）的始发机制，对交际策略、方法（语码或行为）和效果起着控制和预设作用。话语理解、预测和翻译方式方法的选择应围绕交际意图为核心。 From the perspective of relevance theory and relevance translation theory, communication intention of the speaker is the key of interpreting. A communicator conveys an idea that means to make the receivers understand his/her in- tention. Intention, the original mechanism of entire communication （conversational, textural, and non-linguistic communica- tion） , controls and presets communicative strategies, approaches and effects. Conversation understanding, prediction and interpreting approaches should be based on speaker＇s communicative intention.
