摘 要: 研究设计教育中如何通过更多样的形式,培养未来设计行业人才对公众利益的关注及理论与实践结合的问题。以美国华盛顿大学景观建筑系的公众利益设计教育体系为个案研究做深入剖析。重点阐述华大景观建筑系如何通过学习与社会服务的结合,通过服务型学习工作室课程教学培养未来设计师综合素质,提高实践能力,关注公众利益并回馈社会。文章的研究内容与结论希望能对中国景观设计教育的培养形式多样性产生一定启发。 This paper focuses on how a more diverse form of design education can cultivate the abilities of the future designers in serving the public interest and integrating theory and practice. As a representative case study, the public interest design education model in the Department of Landscape Architecture at the University of Washington(UW)is investigated. Specifically, this paper discusses the integration of student learning and social services through service learning studio courses)at UW which are beneficial for training the comprehensive abilities of future designers, improving their practical skills, and enhancing social conscience and contributions to the society. The conclusions of this paper offer several implications for design education in China.
