摘 要: 课堂教学对于英语学习者语言的提高已经有不少研究,然而课外语言输入,如由英美名著改编的电影对学习者语言技能是否有影响的调查研究却不多见。本研究采用问卷调查的研究方法,对502名大学生进行了调查,并对调查数据进行了统计分析。研究结果表明:观看英美名著改编的电影对大学生的语言技能的提高,尤其是听力、词汇以及英美文化认知等方面确实有较大的帮助。本研究对于促进英语学习和教学都有一定的理论和教学意义。 Although many scholars have conducted researches on enhancing English learners" language skills through classroom teaching, few, if any, have connected it with extracurricular language input like appreciating films adapted from English classics. To fill in the gap, the authors of this study have made a survey of 502 subjects randomly sampled from different universities and ana- lyzed data hereby obtained. The result shows that watching films adapted from English classics is of great importance in improving college students" language skills, especially listening, vocabulary memorizing, cross-cultural cognition development, and so forth. The study aims at facilitating both English learners and their teachers in theory and practice.
