摘　　要： 烧伤是老年人意外伤害死亡的主要原因之一。由于脏器功能减退、机体代偿和愈合能力下降且普遍存在不同程度的基础疾病，老年烧伤患者的临床特点与其他人群比较存在明显差异，其并发症多、救治难度大。近几十年来，虽然烧伤医学已取得了长足进步，但是针对老年烧伤的研究不多，相关救治技术进展缓慢。我国已步入老龄社会，老年烧伤患者比例逐年上升，已成为烧伤临床不可忽视的重要人群。如何应对人口结构变化，提高老年烧伤防治水平，是烧伤学科新时期面临的重要挑战和任务。 With ageing of the population, it is estimated that the percentage of old people aged above 65 years old will be approached to 30% in China by 2035. This presents a considerable challenge to geriatric burn treatment, as elderly burn patients have more serious injuries, longer hospital lengths of stay, and higher rates of complications and mortality. In this article, we analyze the current status of burns in the elderly in China and the factors contributing to the outcome of the elderly, and put forward therapeutic strategies so as to improve the level of prevention and treatment of burns in the elderly.
