摘　　要： 自Meara对二语习得的词汇研究转向的呼吁性文章开始,二语词汇习得研究日益深入,研究范式也不断地推陈出新。《二语学习者中的词汇加工:献给Paul Meara教授》是一部总结Meara教授一生对二语词汇习得研究的论文集,可以说是Meara毕生主要研究观点的升华,也是二语词汇习得研究最新研究动向的集中反映。书中采用的研究范式、实验逻辑和对计算机技术的运用值得借鉴。 The study on second language vocabulary acquisition has become a hot issue since the publication of Meara＇ s paper about vocabulary acquisition in 1980. This paper introduces another book about second language vocabulary acquisition： Lexical Processing in Second Language Learners： Papers and Perspectives in Honor of Paul Meara, edited by Tess Fitzpatrick and Andy Barfield. The book collects Meara＇ s students＇ papers about the new development of second language vocabulary acquisition. The research paradigms of the articles are well worth learning.
