摘　　要： 系统功能语言学既是理论语言学,也是适用语言学,它有自己的目标、假定、概念、方法等。生态语言学属于广义的应用语言学,它的研究内容比较专门,即语言与生态问题。Halliday的理论模式注重话语(语篇)分析,并将其看作是该理论模式的一个重要组成部分,Halliday关于语法学的概念是在进化系统类型范式下提出的,这两点与生态语言学研究直接相关。本文将重点勾画系统功能语言学的特点及其与生态语言学的关联性,目的是探讨系统功能语言学对生态语言学和话语的生态分析的启示。 Systemic Functional Linguistics （SFL） is both a theoretical linguistics and an appliable linguistics, which has its own characteristics concerning its aim, assumptions, concepts and methodology. By contrast, ecolinguistics belongs to the broad area of applied linguistics and it is special in that its research area is concerned with issues of language and ecology. SFL emphasizes the importance of discourse analysis and regards it as a proper part of the theoretical model, and Halliday＇ s con- cept of grammatics was proposed within the framework of evolutionary typology of systems. These two points are closely related to ecolinguistic studies. This paper will outline the characteristics of SFL and their relevance to ecolinguistics, with the aim of exploring the implications for ecolinguistic studies.
