摘　　要： 自1991年申请加入亚太经合组织以来,20多年过去了,印度仍未成为亚太经合组织的一员。印度长期谋求加入亚太经合组织,除了亚太经合组织本身的吸引力之外,主要是由印度的国家大战略和现实利益决定的。印度未来能否加入亚太经合组织将取决于它在贸易和投资体制的自由化道路上能走多远和愿意走多远。一个更加市场化、自由化的印度加入亚太经合组织将对亚太地区经济一体化产生积极影响。 Ever since its application to join the Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation in 1991, India hasn＇t become APEC mem- ber yet. India＇s long - term pursuit for accession to APEC is mainly decided by the India＇s national strategy and practical inter- ests, in addition to the attractiveness of APEC itself. The future of India＇s membership to APEC will be determined by how far it can go and is willing to go in further liberalizing its trade and investment regimes. A more market - oriented, liberalized India to join APEC will have a positive impact on Asia - Pacific regional economic integration.
