摘　　要： 专业概论是近年来兴起的一门新课程,其教学方法正在探索之中。笔者根据多年的教学实践,对机械工程专业概论课程的教学方法进行了研究,构建了课程教学内容框架,并从机械工程专业的内涵及发展历史、机械工程的三大主流方向、机械工程专业的学习特点、树立专业思想、热爱所学专业等若干方面,对如何做好教学工作进行了分析与思考,提出了教学观点。本文所提出的教学观点不仅仅针对机械工程专业概论的教学,对其他专业概论课程的教学也具有一定的借鉴意义。 The course of general introduction for discipline is a new kind of course developed recent yearsin China. How to carry out course teaching is a problem in front of teachers responsible for this coursenow. Taking the course of general introduction of mechanical engineering as the subject and according tomany year teaching practice, the author of this paper studied the teaching method, and established theteaching frame work of this course. Then, the teaching method was analyzed from the aspects of the defi-nition of mechanical engineering, the developing history of mechanical engineering, the main 3 developingdirections of mechanical engineering, the features of mechanical engineering learning and how to makestudents to love mechanical engineering. By teaching analysis, the author put forwards some differentteaching opinions, which is not only helpful for the teaching of the course of mechanical engineering, butalso for other discipline.
