摘　　要： 以广州市北京路街区为例,研究了传统商业街区的建筑文化,从建筑文化与商业业态、建筑文化与商业竞争力、建筑与符号化等方面,阐述了建筑文化对传统商业街区发展的影响,指出建筑文化可以提升商业街区的审美层次,诠释城市文化的精神。 Taking Beijing Street Block in Guangzhou as the example, the paper researches the architectural culture for traditional commercial culture ,illustrates the influence of the architectural culture on the traditional commercial block development from the architectural culture and commercial industry, architectural culture and commercial competition, and architectural and symbolization, and points out the architectural culture can promote the esthetic standard for the commercial blocks, and interpret the essence of the urban culture.
