摘　　要： 平顶山香山寺作为豫西南地区的佛教中心，是建筑最早的东土“真香山寺”，在中国佛教史上具有不可替代的地位。香山寺的兴起具有特定的历史地理基础，体现了独特的地理环境、便利的交通对早期佛教文化传播的影响。 As the Buddhistcenter in southwestern Henan, Xiangshan Temple of Ping Ding Shan is the ＂Real Xiangshan Temple＂ built earliest in the East, with the irreplaceable position in Chinese Buddhism. The rising of Xiangshan Temple has specific historical and geographical foundation, reflecting the uniqueness of geographical environment, the effects convenient transport has on the early spread of Buddhist culture.
