摘　　要： 口音歧视的本质只是一种人为的阶层化概念,却演变成了英语学习者真实的学习障碍。探讨口音的本质、了解口音歧视的负面影响,对减少广大英语学习者的学习障碍以及公平看待英语语言相关从业人员至关重要。 Accent discrimination is essentially a concept of artificial stratification,but it has evolved into a real learning disability for English learners.Exploring the nature of accents and understanding the negative effects of accent discrimination are critical to reducing learning disabilities of the majority of English learners and to fair treatment of English language related practitioners.
